It all started during the holiday season when founder, Lynn Murphy created painting kits for her nieces and nephews to make their own Christmas ornaments. Lynn’s inspiration to start The Beach Hut Gift Shop came from her love for fun and unique gifts that make people say “WOW”. The Beach Hut is conveniently located in the beautiful beach community of Narragansett.
Lynn is proud of her South County roots. She loves being able to engage with the community of Narragansett through her store. She enjoys engaging with tourists and creating one-of-a-kind gifts for them. One example of this is custom embroidered items such as embroidered guest towels for their beach houses. She likes creating a welcoming feeling for all who visit her store.
The Beach Hut sells custom-made embroidery items, activity and craft kits for all ages (children and adults), hostess gifts, and more! Activity kits for children range from design your own t-shirt, kids activity beach pails, acrylic painting kits, and more.
